I ran across these people that have a kawi 550 sitting in their basement. I can pick it up for $100. It looks like it has custom paint but I have no idea the condition of it but the guy claims it ran not too long ago. Is there anyone who really rides these anymore? Just looking for opinions I guess. I figure it would at least look nice sitting an a stand as a piece of old Jet Ski art!!!

for 100 bucks i would scoop it up in a second especially being complete...theres actually quite a bit of people that ride them... much better technical support on pwctoday.com for these than on here though
According to the owner it ran when they put it away. I hope with a new battery I can get it to run. I figure it will fill the extra spot on our trailer for now and if it runs we can invite another rider along. Not gonna pull anyones arms off, but maybe we hook a new person to the world of Stand-ups!!!

Hard to see in pics, but looks like it has a silver expansion chamber. It could be an sx, and very well could be a reed engine. if so, its well worth 100 bucks.

Piston port. Nightmare to tune if everything isnt dialed. If its sat your prob gonna have to put all new seals in it to make it run reliably. Thats the very least.
