Kawasaki Freestyle Engines?????????????

Hey guys,
What are the options for using a kawasaki engine as a base for freestyle? Are there also stroker kawi engines or is the only option to put a amp polaris or ada, lamey etc. motor into the kawi for 1200cc+.

the kawi motor is not as good for bottom end because it has round exhaust ports instead of bigger square ones like the yamaha. not to say that its impossible, but it'll cost alot and wont perform as well as the yamaha for the money spent.

if somebody would just make a lamey style cylinder for the kawi w/ square ports like a yamaha , it would be great cuz the oem crank is the equivelant to a 6mm yamaha stroker and the cylinders are further apart so you could technically fit larger pistons.

Most people that port their kawi motors pretty much flatten the bottom of the exhaust port to make it more square. I could only imagine that porting would be easier and cheaper than getting a stroker crank... Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Thank you for all the input, il speak 2 jsu and hear what they have to say...

Kawi motors are hard to work around with in the compartment It shreds my fingers 2 pieces so im thinking of a custom cylinder and head 2 fit a kawi crank case with a custom crank maybe a stroker if thats all it takes maybe the mid range and top end with the square openings can result in a screamer at bottum end... so ive got some reading to do again...yay!

Ps all 4 a bit more brap!?! :purr:

Contact Blowsion/JSU. They set up Josh Lustic on a Kawi starting in 2001, they had him ripping on the 750 and then the SXR when it came out. It can be done.
