actually i pulled a 12ft flat bottom boat back to the dock one time with my 550. I could get it up on plane with one person in it. but who knows how this would handle.

Considering what they charge for outboard motors these days it was probably part of his motivation. Maybe he had a lot of time, the boat, a 550, a sawsall and some fiberglass on available.

I didn't see any fiberglass.. It looks like he just siliconed the hull to the boat.
I can't believe he used the whole ski. He still has the hood on it.
