pic #4 is where it got a dime sized hole when it dropped on my garage floor.
One layer of glass underneath, then some 2-part epoxyon top to fill in and sand smooth. Footholds were a little thin in some spots but overall i was happy with the molds.

Thanks TXJFrosty,
It was recommended to me to put more glass in the tray area between footholds to give more strength wich i'll do as a safety measure.
Hopefully turff will be done by this comin sat.

Take your time, and use a heat gun to help form the turf around the footholds. It helps make it more plyable and easier to form. I also put two coats of contact cement on the ski and three coats on the padding and turf. Use a rubber mallet and you're all set.

I just finished up returfing my ski last night, after modifying my footholds and adding a front foothold last week.

Nice work !
Heat gun is on stand by
I've got a pre cut kit and it seems a little loose fitting where the seams are cut to wrap around top of gunwhale
I think i'll pre fit those pieces and trim before i get started glueing

I recommend re-inforcing the entire tray from one foothold to the other with some good bi-axial mat. It may save you some headache in the future.
