was ridin today and finally snapped off my handlepole on my 91' kawasaki 650.
its cracked pretty good at the base, where the bolt slides through. don't wanna spend 500 bucks for an aftermarket. do you guys think its repairable???

okay well it actually happened while my cousin was riding it. according to him, he went to do a 360 and he must of had some serious side to side tweaking, not hyperextension. sorry no pics. its not completely snapped, just splintered pretty good at the base where the bolt slides through. mainly wanted to see if anyone has ever had any luck repairing this type of break, as opposed to buying a new one. thanks, let me know!!!

i broke a stock pole clean in half and took some 4" wide ducktape and used about a half roll taping it round and round in one piece. It was amazing how good it worked. It lasted me a good month wile my xmetal was being made. the tape ended up being about 3/8" thick all the way around.

its a good bandage untill you get an alum pole. The way we ride the ski's stock poles just dont last. i wouldent waist your time glassing it over. its more than likely to break again.
