you will loose a bit of compression, and your spark/ignition is not going to be as effecient since the electrode is up in the hole. Just put ES plugs in there and you are fine.

Waterinjection can work good when set up correctly.

its a decent price, not a steal by any means, but for the amount of goodies on it, the price is good..

now that i think of it.. that price would be pretty good in the northeast..

SJ are hard enough to find as it is.

this weeked

going out to the the river and doing a shakedown test and ride with the thing. so far all it needs is two spark plugs and a lil cleaning. Other than that. it should be ready to go. let you know how it goes. may part out the ada girdle, water inj. but well see how it goes. prob faster than my 06'

one more thing

i noticed the plugs where they fill it with foam under the e box is missing the little stickers. it feels very dry. i dont want to bother taking the thing apart engine and all and mixing up glass. any other alt. ways. maybe the 2 part epoxy
what works best. ducktape?

also used some heavy duty simple green and cleaned the entire engine compartment.
only thing that looks still a lil ugly and rusty looking is the bottom inside under the engine and hull. any good ways of cleaning or is it to far gone.

May be overkill but I used two of the red 1.5" pipe plugs (I think they call them test plugs?) from Lowes for the holes, I had to chuck the hole-end in a drill press and shave off some to make it fit. And, duct tape works too btw.

As far as the stains in the bottom, wait until you pull the motor later on in the off-season. For now - - ride.

update

took it out over the weekend ran 2 tanks through it. it has tons of power. it started up and ran like a yamaha. only thing that went wrong was there was oil comming up from the dome and plug. o ring. issue. so i pulled the head and notice that there a few o rings that were no longer connected and the main one was flattened. it has 33cc domes a lil over kill. so i just bought some new rings and will install asap. as for everything else. no water in hull or over heating.

i assume it will be faster once i fix the rings.

the chamber looks like a 650 model!

The 650 model has "Factory Pipe" on the side doesn't it, wouldn't that be visible? If you're talking about the dent maybe he (or a PO) put that in themselves. But its hard to tell

Btw, my ADA head (installed beginning of 08 season) is also pushing the o-ring and a dab of oil out the top of the head next to the domes. Not bad though, will replace o-rings in off-season. Anyone else having this situation?

i am racing the black ski in novice limited. but got spanked in finals.
got to practice more.
i may change this ski to all stock or stock legal and compete. prob put tubbie derstroyers on it and start parting it out.

prob get money from the h2o and head pipe.

I was having the same issue with oil seeping thru by the dome, I put a light coat of three bond 1211 around the shell opening ,and the o-ring on the dome then assembled. Problem has not re-occured since. I suspect any knid of good chemical resistant sealer would work but just a bit, so popping the domes out is still a simple task.

looks like a mod chamber.
that thing is clean, the gas tank is not even yellowed.did they siphon the gas out after every ride?
nice deal.

Only thing you need to do is shorten the tank vent hose and clean up the wiring, it looks sloppy.
