Rome was not built in a day, and neither does your Sjneed to be....:cool2:

Good luck on the project, I wil follow it closely.

looks like a good boat to start a build with.

dont listen to risk and his rome wasnt built in a day theory. hes only saying that because he takes forever to even cut the top deck off the square.

I used one of these to get most everything scraped off the flat surfaces, then used 3M adhesive remover to get the risidual glue off. worked great for me...

ok i started doing my footholds, now on the right side it seems the foothold is hititing the exhaust pipe... is that because I put them too far forward? or do i have to do somethin about the pipe?

i wasnt sure about placement so I put the holds so they start at the flat part of the tray.. about 6-7" from the back of the tray

You should be able to slide it back enough to just clear the exhaust. If not cut the hole slightly larger in the back to do it. If you look at your footholds the exhaust side should have a slight angle in the front to clear.

looks like you put them to far forward...I think mine are only like 4-5 inches from the back of the tray if that, mind you mine is a roundnose. Just keep cutting them back until they fit. Thats the good thing about glass you can always fix what you need to. Heres a pic to show you where mine sit.
