Super Jet jugs filling with gas when ski is sitting

Cant seem to figure this one out .....ski sits on dock for a few days and go to start it and its flooded to hell....I even rum it out of the water to clear it out when i put it up. Can the tank pressurize and push fuel into carbs? am i getting fuel pushed into carb from primer? Its not a major prob but bugs the crap outa me ...........any ideas?

leaky needle. Just had this happen to my ski today. Left a nice black stain on the blacktop. Take the carbs apart and check the needle and seat for wear or dirt.




The other thing to check is that the long exhaust hose is not blocking the air holes for the diaphragm on the carbs.

To solve this problem without fixing anything, crack your gas cap slightly or pull the return hose off the fuel tank to relieve pressure while its stored. Mine is disconnected for now until I can pull the carbs tomorrow.

I've watched fuel get pushed through a bad bulb primer. It is a possibility.
