js550 wont start

[Lake St. Clair Rider]

A few weeks ago I was riding in some heavy chop and my flame arrestor broke in half. After that it wouldn't start. Fast forward to a couple days ago, I managed to get it to start on land and everything seemed good. As soon as I put it in the water nothing happened. I pulled it out and now it won't even start on land. Has 125 compression, spark and gas. Any Ideas?

Maybe something fell in the intake? The 550sx facebook group could be another good place to ask this question.
