JS550 to 701 problems

Guy's I did a 701 drop in with the rhass kit in my 550...and I'm not sure what the damn problems is. It idles fine in the water and on the hose but it has a bogging issue and not a whole lot of snap. Thinking it was an exhaust issue so I bored out the thru hull exhaust port and put in a 2" piece of pvc to a xp717 waterbox and then ran the oem superjet hose from the waterbox to the engine. As a side note the engine is kind of mix-matched 61x bottom, 62t cylinder, with a 61x head. Any ideas that would help before summer is out would be greatly appreciated!

I've been poking at this damn thing off and on since Feb. Before I dropped the engine in I looked over everything hoses included. I'm going to cut back the wires and see if that does anything. If I hook test the wires with a voltage reader what should it read??? Mid to upper revs do nothing...it gets on plain and chokes out about there.

I had a completely stock rn do the same thing with one bad plug. Could be wires. I don't think you can check the plug wires with a test meter. Just cut them back a half inch. Does the ski ever get any better say if you hop it out of the water?

check reeds. I had a 61x do same thing. turns out reed screws came loose on one side. crazy thing it idled great. and actually ran strong to half throttle then bogged until it would almost die.....let off throttle it ran perfect. craziest thing I've had with a motor. but I luckily had carbon reeds so no damage was done to crank.
