You can bet he usus multiple accounts , catching this guy would be like playing whack a mole , but you gave some very sound advice, thanks for the heads up.

I am just going to throw this out there, how does this scammer know user’s emails? I know signing up, no phone number was required, but how does the scammer have access to user’s email? I know that once you have an email you could look through data leak sets for a full name and phone number.

My question is how were emails exposed? You can’t view them on someone’s profile. Was there a data leak/ breach with x-h20 that exposed user’s emails?

He text me from that email last night which is super scammy. He asked me to send him my buddy’s number who is interested in the RRP bracket that Saltaire is selling. Then he emailed me from a different address, donboob415@gmail.com, following up. Fu ck this guy.

A little alarming that they can find someone’s personal information so fast.

All of our info is out there and these losers have spreadsheets that cross-reference usernames on various platforms associated with names/emails/phone numbers etc.

I will gladly pay the extra fee to use paypal goods and services and receive buyer protection - if that isn't an option, I'm not buying, plain and simple.
