JK support stickers

Anyone selling (fundraising) stickers for Joe? I'd like to rock a couple on my ski/trailer this season on the tour. If someone could design something, I'd be up for buying a few for sure.

I sent John Dady a note asking about this - here's his response:

It is a good idea Lisa.
I will draw up a design and send you over the details for price and purchase next week.
Thank you,
John

I emailed Ollie at Twist Graphix- but he is wide open with other work and isnt sure if he can make it happen.
He said if no one else stepped up the plate, he would try to do something in a few weeks!

Man...that just broke my heart to see his ski for sale..:frown:

Even a Simple offset JK sticker would be cool to show support- (kinda like the one JK has on that ski)

Guys, the stickers and shirts ARE on their website.

I have to say something, as I am very angry and offended by some of the comments made online in various threads on various sites regarding fundraising for Joe. Even though the posts may not have intentionally been made to sound somewhat hateful, negative, or insinuating that Blowsion, or any of Joe's other supporters isn't/haven't been supportive of Joe, that's the way they're coming off to many (I was alerted to this post by four individuals who found the comments offensive/hurtful as well).

That being said, please know Joe is going through a lot right now - and his family, close friend and sponsors (who may as well be family they are so close) are going right along with him on this ride. It's been horrific, and quite frankly, draining, exceptionally time-consuming - and very depressing. That's resulted in it taking a little longer than apparently some of you thought it should to get product on websites.

I myself have fallen behind and even been asked to pause for a bit, in posting updates on Joe's progress/prognosis. I'm pretty sure if any of you were going through what we're going through, you'd be able to understand. I do owe you an apology for not just saying "I cannot talk about this right now." Please, please don't hold this against any of the multitude of folks who are doing what they can to support Joe both emotionally as well as financially.

I also have to say I know for a fact that JOE HAS ALWAYS GOTTEN 100% of the sales price for the skis Blowsion has sold for him after he was done competing on them. Blowsion has NEVER profitted from, and WILL NEVER profit a single dime from the sale of his skis, or any of the shirts or stickers they are selling on their website. This has always been the case - Prior to his injury, as well as now.

I received news Saturday that Joes recovery will be a lifelong struggle. This was not the news I ever wanted to deliver anyone, and honestly, I am not sure Joe has fully grasp this concept. But apparently folks feel they must know every single detail of what's going on, immediately - or their minds run wild with assumptions.

Please continue to show your love and respect for Joe by just being there for him. He still needs to hear from folks. It's so very important that he knows he's not forgotten, that he has the support so many of you have been so wonderful about providing. Please continue with the positive vibes, because the negative vibes are just really bringing his family and friends down right now. God, I hope he never finds out about them as well.

Thanks for understanding,
Lisa

Lisa,
I can't speak for anyone else, but for me, I am just concerned about Joe and wish there was more I could do for him. I have sent money and bought T-shirts and stickers, sent post cards, etc. but it just doesn't seem enough.

There are a lot of people out here who are just hungry for any news about Joe. I'm sure some of you that are closest to Joe feel a bit pestered, but I think that most of us who aren't as personally involved just want to hear some news.

For those of us who don't really know Joe, only his public persona, we all look up to Joe so much this has been a bit surreal for us. He has always been the somewhat superhuman icon we look up to and it's hard to imagine him any other way.

I suspect that it may be hard for his immediate family and friends to think of him any other way, also. It is understandable that you and others close to him would find it hard to discuss. I also understand it would be hard to have to put into writing some of the not so good news that you've had to deliver.

I, for one, really appreciate that you have taken so much of your time to get updates to the rest of the world. I also appreciate the efforts made by you and other friends and family on Joe's behalf. I wish it was something we could all help with in a more substantial way.

I hope that you can keep some of these thoughts in mind when reading some of the posts that were less than thoughtful. I agree that some were inappropriate, but I'm not sure they were really intended that way. Sometimes it is extremely hard to express how we feel.

Please, please, Lisa, don't get discouraged by smart mouths and negativity. You are our best connection to Joe and we want you and him to feel all the support that we can possibly send. There are lots of us out here who may usually just lurk around, but still feel strongly about wanting to do as much as we can for Joe AND his support group.

Stay strong, Lisa, we need you almost as much as Joe does.
