I would recommend trying it out as it is.
It'll probably be a bit too rich on the bottom, at which point I'd drop the 2.3 N&S to a 2.0 N&S

will a taperbore on a carb make a difference in jetting?

you were right it is pretty rich down low. so just go to a 2.0 ns and leave the jets and spring?

Change one thing at a time.
Personally, I would drop N&S to a 2.0 and go from there.
