Ski running like crap. When you hit the throttle the ski boggs pretty bad. It's a 98 sxi pro with spark arrestors, lightened flywheel, carbon fiber reed spacers, and timing advance. What is a good baseline to set the carbs at? Thanks!!

Did you change anything in your setup?
Was it ever running right?
What changed since then?

Its all f'd up now :haha: We have water or something in the rear cylinder right now. This thing is possessed. Seriously, it is firing on the cylinder that we think is bad, and spark is not that good.

I would get those issues worked out before attempting jetting.

What makes you think there's a jetting issue in the first place?

I would check the plug wires for breaks before I would call the coil bad. The stock wires are bad about breaking from fatigue. The only have about 10 strand wire. The wires can be replaced in the stock coils with good 20 strand wire. Call the guy in my sig line, he can replace the coil wires for you.

Check the resistance of between the spark plug caps you should get a reading of 3.5k - 4.7k ohms. If not wiggle the wires while testing and see if it starts to read. This indicates broken wires or bad plug caps.
