Hey, I am taking a SBN 44 mikuni from a 650 to my new 762. Currently has a 160M/120P, just wondering if this will be suitable for the new motor? ATP head, 35cc domes, 91-94 octane, 61x freestyle porting top/bottom with wiseco 84.5mm pistons. Single carb, stock 61x intake. running the 650 coffman sizzler on it, will be bore matching it to the cylinder.

Thanks for any help. any suggestions would be great, i feel i was running a bit rich for the 650

Thanks for a reply! I was starting to think id have to find experts on PWCToday.

When you say was, meaning too big for the 650. i should go 145-147.5 on the 762 thats ported?

Not helpful but keep us posted on how you like that setup. I am planning on doing the same thing. 61x/61x 35cc domes with Coffman sizzler.

Will do. yep, that the exact same setup. pump might be the only difference, running a solas and hooker 11/17 with riva scoop grate. i was told to bore the exhaust open as much as possible to prevent detonation. just passing that along.

and its a SN.

im determined to flip a SN off a boat wake. LOL

i think factory pipe recommends a 125/145 on the 701 but i had a ported badass 650 that had a 150 or 160m in it. its better to have a bit big jet in there than too small. PWC is loaded with useful info from many gurus! NOT! on the 650 coffman says 2.0 seat, 125 m,, low screw 2 turns, hi 2 turns , 20lbs pop off 65gram spr.

thanks for that info. From what im being told i should start with what i have, and tune the piston wash. a few local guys are going to help me get it down pat. ordered some thermostats, so hopefully i wont need to screw with it.
