Jetmaniac 718

Hi all, wondering if anyone has jetting numbers for 4K elevation with a jetmaniac 718 and mikuni…. Not sure what they are but attached are some pics. From what I see they have 175 pilots if that sounds correct. It came from the ocean but now using at higher elevation…. I appreciate the help! Thanks

Looks like maybe it’s a 75 low end jet…

If you look at the Mikuni Pocket Tuner, the Pilot(small) Jet stays the same and the Main(big) Jet is -5 smaller.

So if you have a 117.5 Main Jet, you need a 112.5.

Then fine tune as needed with the Low and High Speed Screws.

Looks like a sbn38. Surely you have 2 of those carbs on a jetmaniac 718. Also looks like a 75 pilot jet to me. I setup dual 38s with a 75 pilot and 140 main jet. 65g spring with stock 1.5 n/s. Or 95g spring with a 2.0 n/s. Home lake elevation is 1400'. When I go to sea level I turn my high speed adjusters out an extra 1/4 turn.

Thankyou! That makes sense. It is 75 low and 142.5 high. I’m at 4000…. It’s a bit much!

Going from sea level to 4K elevation, you’ll definitely need to lean it out a bit. 175 pilots sound rich, most run closer to 120–135 pilots at altitude depending on setup. Mains will likely need to drop 1–2 sizes as well; check your current numbers.
