JetJim - Bad Seller/possible scammer

Seller: JetJim

Item was paid for on Aug 13. Multiple PMs were sent asking for tracking number or a shipping date. Seller responds two weeks later saying there was a mix up and he was shipping my item that day (FL to TX via USPS priority). 10 days later, no item and no response from seller. I filed a dispute with paypal.

I would recommend you stay away from this seller.

Same here. Sent paypal on August 9th, waited 10 days and when the part didn't arrive I Pm'd him and he assured me they went out a few days ago, even though he told me it would ship the day after payment. I waited another 10 days and then filed a paypal complaint. He wrote back saying there was a mix up and he wished that I had emailed him instead of filing a complaint (made me feel like it was my fault, and I'm the bad guy?) He said the part would be sent out. That was 10 days ago. Think it's time to escalate the complaint to a claim. To bad, never been screwed on an online transaction before, but I'll be more careful next time.

I to am in the same situation, is this just a possible mixup? Has anyone had a positive experience with this seller? Just wondering when i should start the paypal claim process.

I changed my dispute to a claim today. He still hasn't contacted me. I would recommend you file soon. PayPal allows you to file for up to 45 days. Stuff I ordered from FL from other sellers (after he said he shipped) has already arrived. At this point I have no sympathy for him.

I just got my refund today. I'd never been through it either, but it was a pretty simple process. Just took a few weeks. Good luck.
