Jetaddict's SLLLOOOWW SXR Build

I figure I better start a thread here, since I am Sllllooooowly starting to build my SXR. So far I've added only a Wetwolf F/S cone and some minor mods like ODI's, a UMI trigger, and the DIY advance.
I recently purchased an AC handlepole from Matt Smith, and in anticipation of its arrival, I pulled my stocker off today. Good thing I did it too, since there was some fiberglass cracking in some areas, and a real bad area where the cable bracket was. The biggest bit** of the whole thing was the stinking handlepole bolt. Damn thing was real tough to get out of there.
So, I should hopefully be getting the black AC on Tuesday...unless UPS delivers on President's Day. :arms: And I'll post some pics with the ski's new look when I am done. I am stoked!
Oh...and the stupid adjustment bolt that goes into the trigger throttle broke- gotta go to the dealer and pick up another one tomorrow. The only mishap in the teardown.

what are your overall plans? or are doing one mod and see if its enough?

My overall plans are to build a nice surf ski....with enough power to do some mild tricks (no backies), a little more bottom end and throttle response. I am trying to shave some weight wherever I can. My next major purchase is going to be a wet pipe. I will be brining it in to you for the tune once that happens!
Oh...if you saw my garage, you'd realize the only place I can put any stuff is in my tray. Otherwise, my kids would run it over with their bikes or it'd disappear on my tool box....or my wife would run sh** over when she pulled into the garage.

I guess I should retitle that- I meant it takes me FOREVER to do sh** to my ski, so it will therefore be a SLOW build.
