Other Jet Ski Sickness

I just came to realize, I got jet ski sick. $1100 on ebay for a 760 engine and factory pipe for a 750sx and a $150 on an atlantic order I am waiting on this week. And to think almost a year ago my first jet ski purchase was a $700 98 Kawasaki XI, cheap and budget aware.. What had happened to me?? haha:beerchug:

Welcome to the club. Keep track of your money in the bank and don't keep track of what you've spent on the ski so far....it'll make you sick.

Yea, my friend priced together how much he spent on gas/oil this year alone. Considering I went riding just as much as him, I told him I don't want to know.. Ignorance is bliss

The closest lake to me in Loveland:
$20 gas (round trip)
~$20 gas per ski per day (x2)

Total (1 Day Riding): $60 (not to mention having to go and fix the occasional thing, or wear on the truck for driving so much and pulling the trailer)

No idea how this compares to anyone, but it seems a lot to me, especially since I'm 17 and about to go into my freshmen year of college; how will I afford life anymore (jet skiing comes first of course)?!

Ask your friends when you're in college how much they spend at the bar in one night and then compare it to jetskiing. There are more expensive hobbies than jetskiing....

All things considered its not that expensive unless you let it be.

The best preventative medicine is to never ride a ski other than stock with minimal add ons. Once u ride a big power ski or aftermarket hull ur done for. The madness will ensue with a constant daydream of how to swing the costs of big bore this or stroker that. If I just had this one more piece to the puzzle then I could do "x". Believe me, I've caught myself doing it. The reliability of stock with just bolt ons is heaven and easier on the wallet.
