jet dynamics ride plate and intake grate

I ride a FX-1 and i was wondering if i can get some feed back on how well the jet dynamics ride plate and intake grate work? I have heard alot of great things about them both on the FX-1 any bad exsperience?

What type of riding do you do?
I used to use them for racing. I like the worx intake grate better, but jet dy isn't bad if you can get a good deal on a used one.
I know a couple guys on this forum have cut down the plates and d-cut them with some good results. In stock form they aren't that good for freeride and freestyle.

I freestyle mostly. I do not get a chance to travel to the beaches very often and the ski right now is mostly stock. i need and intake grate bad because i have NONE and i have a protec ride plate on now. i plan on putting more power to the ski so i am trying to find a good set up to use so when i upgrade i do not have to buy another one.

It may not be the best for freestyle, but the JD plate/grate give a HUGE handling improvement in general on the FX1's.

It's apart right now; plan to put the flat top in it and some tubbies.
