JAVA sucks!! Been preaching it for 15+ years!

I have been uninstalling this crap for 15+ years! I very very rarely see a user/program that requires it. I say screw disabling it and completely uninstall it and never look back.

AS usual the gov is a little late.....as if this is the first time java has been a issue!

I don't know why they don't just use C#, so much easier than coding in JAVA.

Coz lot of Java machines (byte code interpreters) released in smart cards, sim cards, etc
Now MS have chance take it over with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.NET_Micro_Framework

I tried removing it, and I then could not print my Fed Ex Labels......

Fed ex website says i have to have JAVA.

any idea how I can get around this? aslo, I now have a pop up, saying I need to install a Java update. How can I get this to stop?

Oops didn't see this Zig....just allow the update in your case.....if it messed up from the uninstall and won't update then just re-install it fresh. UPS needs to ditch that need ASAP like most everyone else has...
