whats wrong with fishing? I fish off my sitdown occasional, some people cant afford a boat and a jetski.

And I DO have a standup.

They do have certain advantages in getting up in river backs.

Agreed, I even posted on it after linking over. Given I dont fish from a ski but I actually spend alot of time fishing from a bass boat. Did I actually admit that to you guys?

Why? Sea Doo has it's own wake edition and that comes with a rack.... is that over the top?

Wakeboarding/skating is not bad behind a ski, especially if you're a beginner or not a die hard (read $50k boat). Granted, there are better alternatives, but not everybody has $ for that route. :cool2:

I saw this guy out on his Yamaha FX with a custom built pole holder rack (held four poles, but if your by yourself, why do you need four poles, I can see two maybe, but not four) connected to the back of his ski. It also had a tackle box and a cooler. He was fishing right outside the harbor but still behind the break wall. Didn't seem that bad to me. Atleast he wasn't being stupid and fishing in the main traffic channel of the harbor or anything.

I see the need for 3 different types of poles where I fish. There's perch fishing, which I use an ultralight, there's bottom fishing, which requires a chumming stick, and then there's striper casting, which requires a surfy kinda rod. Yea I agree 4 is a bit much, but I could easily see myself and a friend taking 6-10 rods when I go fishing, especially when its bottom fishing and multiple lines are always thrown over.

4 rods, sounds like he had some rod holders in the footwells for trolling!
