Super Jet Is this grate any good?

Looks like one of the older R&D grates I'm using it and am happy. What info are you looking for run it if you don't like it pull it back out. Imo you can feel it hook when you let off the throttle probably better styled for free ride more so than racing.

I ran an r&d before didn't look like that the scoop was more in the middle, it worked good, even better after I blue printed my pump
I'm just wondering how good it will load my pump compared to a grate that sticks below the hull and a grate that isn't as much of a top loader. Are top loaders good for freestyle?

Well I ran that grate today! I'm coming from a stock grate, and wow it made a huge difference. Before with my d cut rideplate and stock grate I had a hard time not porpoising after I got on plane, and now it gets on plane no problem and I can go WOT and still be hooked up for once! And I definitely notice the better hookup when it comes to small waves, because even with the small ones I'm able to launch right off of them. I feel like I'll be able to finally get some decent height off of a setup wake now. Now I'm actually able to keep my hooker hooked up. I was running a 9/15 hooker with a stock grate...
So far I'm pretty happy with this grate after only an hour, but I've never tried any others. My ski handles completely better! I felt like I lost some MPH, but going WOT and having my ski completely hooked up and sucked to the water and stable at the same time felt amazing.
