Is this going to be a nutcracker? (some custom work on the front of a SN)

94 SN, been doing some 'custom' work on it. I did some mock up tonight and didn't realize my pole (AC) takes a dive at the end so it left a pretty good difference in height between the pole and the front. I do a bit of hood tricks and I'm now thinking that the new 'pocket' created will be a nice place to catch my nuts when I'm sliding off the front while facing the rear.

Do you guys concur? It's still not too much work to fix, as it's only foam for mock up, not glassed yet.

It looks like it may cause some problems if you do ballbusters or 50/50s. That bulge will get you right in the chest or the chin. It would probably work better if you grind it sown some and just make the v a little deeper. Looks good though.

Well first of all I would say WOW That look's awesome quite a transformation from a square nose one thing I have noticed about handlepoles and what limit's them from travel is small rubber stop's at a rediculuos leverage dissatvantage! So fill in what you want for function and look's and go with a limit strap.Good luck? spelling ? sorry

I would fix it while its still foam i think it could look better... while it looks great now i think after you have done all this work you will be mad at yourself for not fixing it while you can

I don't think that hump would really be a ball buster but I do think the pole/nose mismatch might bother you eventually.

Pole is bolted to the stock SN mount. I machined some bushings out of Delrin to take up the space.

The stock rubber stops are gone. They limited the pole too low so now there is nothing to limit it at all, so a limit rope will be installed. That's what got me in this mess. Broke a brand new (first ride) stock SN pole trying a nose stab.3

I'm kind of new to trying tricks, so I wanted some input. Been riding standups since the early 90s though.

Did some carving this AM.

This will be much better. You'll see a difference in texture because I had 'painted' on some epoxy resin. I kept hitting it with stuff and damaging it, plus I fared in some of the voids in the foam.
