Is this galvanic corrosion due to Solas SS stator

solas wear ring corrosion.jpg

All the parts were new 2 seasons ago....ski is always washed after use.....hull is a carbon Freak....none of my stock pumps have ever looked like this after many years of use....I am thinking it could be the carbon hull, and combo alu/stainless steel pump in salt water which then makes the softer aluminium into a sacrifiical anode (of sorts).....any insights welcome.

I actually only took this off to put in my new Jetmaniac supplied 148 H20 stainless steel set back torrent pump....its a work of art.....big tks to Chris. for building it.......then I noticed this rather abnormal corrosion....I am thinking it could actually be the conductive nature of the carbon hull which is causing the aluminium in the pump to corrode...the nozzle is anodised, so it looks perfect still

I Also have a 1 year old carbon Freak and ride alot in salt water. My all stainless Maxx pump is fine but i have replaced both my waterlines as one was leaking badly filling the tray area half full in 1 tank . I noticed my pissers are going to be needing replacement soon, as they are corroding quickly from the inside out definately an issue due to water passing thru carrying current touching a semi conductive carbon hull , I guess ??
