Never mind, pulled the reeds off and the rubber on the cage is shot. Went to go change my reeds and thus is what I found. Do I need to switch it out or will it no effect anything?

It's kinda hard to see. But the rubber is ripped

Good point.... A buddy was checking his reeds with a bore scope on an assembled engine, tips looked fine but I doubt he could have seen that.. Sometimes it takes a tear down
