If you have a Facebook, find the Kawasaki 550 jet ski page and ask them. Lots of old guys on there who were around when skis started. That page has a cult like following. I've had the same sub plate before but don't know the brand

The JS300 was only made in 1986. If it was a 300 it would would have a hole in the top left tray side where the oil fill cap was (the 300's had oil injection like the 650's)

LMK when you get the steering brace and plate off, I'd be interested in them for my 550 build...maybe the braces too if those are salvageable
