Anyone ever heard of this outfit? I've bought 3 starters off them with 1 year warranties. The first was for the 550 and it died and they were cool about giving me the refund (the price for the starter had changed). The second 1 I got was also for the 550 and it died so I sent it back and got a replacement, which died.

While the second was installed, I ordered a 580 starter from them. No problems at all there.

The second starter did stop and I sent it back to them for a replacement (w/o opening it because of the warranty) and they told me it worked. I told him when it left my house it wasn't working. He said he was going to talk to his tech who wasn't in and decide what to do from there.

That was somewhere around 2 months ago. Email attempts have been unsuccessful. Somehow I lost their phone number.

Now there website http://www.rareelectrical.com/ is down. Maybe the economy hit them too.
