Super Jet is my pipe holding me back

Just did a bore over to a 771 from a 701 and it doesn't really feel any different was wondering if maybe my pro tech black pipe was holding me back. Plus my buddies 730 feels quit a bit stronger as well. Any thoughts of what to do runs good and strong just not as strong as I would have thought it would. Thanks 102nd7

I know the b pipe would be a lot better. But I have a new ski to build over the winter and really don't feel like paying for a new b pipe for 2 skis. Any other opinions. And is the pro tech pipe that bad.

I think its a Solaris 17/12 but not 100% sure. The ski is a 90 sn. Just going to ride till project is done then sell. I'd like it to run dang well when I sell it.

So you built a 771 for a SJ you are selling and want more power out of it while you are currently/will be building another ski? This seems counter-productive and needlessly expensive. Why not just ride the spare ski as you are building up the other ski and put your money into the ski you are not selling instead?

put a b pipe on it, use the protec pipe on the other ski for a while, then swap your 771 and bpipe to what ever ski you want to keep

Surprised no one has mentioned it but did you just go from Stock 701 to 771 with no porting. If so that probably why it's not what you were anticipating. Get some porting and get it too breath it will make a big difference.

I should probably start a new thread on this but. How much water should there be in the water box. If I pull off my pipe I get a good half gallon or so that runs out of the rubber hose connecting the pipe to the water box. That seems like its too much.
