Hey guys i was wandering if it is possible to do a 180 nose stab on a 650sx.My 650 has footholds and lots!! of motor mods. And is it just my balance or something else but when i try to do a bulldog the ski just rolls over?Give me some more tricks i can try.

I can't imagine any reason in the world you couldn't. I used to do stabs on a 650 a million years ago, long before footholds existed! (oh yeah...I still don't have foot holds)

Yes, by the time I sold my 550 I had stabs down. Air helps, but isn't nessecary, just make sure your bars are cranked before the back of the hull leaves the water. I crank left on a prejump, land, then crank hard right as I hop again and pull the tray as high as I can.

As for the bull dog, you need to get your weight on the inside of the turn. Try hanging more of your body off the side of the ski as you're doing it, all the weight has to be on the inside, and it helps if you pull the ski and try to tilt it inward as you are turning, that way when it starts sliding you down fly outward.

A built 650 would probably be easier to roll than on a stock sxr. The 650sx can be fun with an appropriate amount of power.

it would make life a lot easier if you found a quik steer. Thats what makes it the hardeest is how much they suck at turning.

This is absolutely true bud
I had the hardest time doing them untill i got mine from jet works and now they are alot easier being that the ski is much more responsive in handeling

Abbe told me that he rode with some kids and one of them was able to roll a stock 650sx.. he did sy however it looked like the kid was gunna die everytime though....but i didnt see it so idk nothin :cool2:

Let me start off by stating that anything said here is in the utmost respect to any and all riders out there.

The 650, in stock form with just glue-on lifter wedges and impeller, can nose stab, invert, tail stall, bulldog, sub, and in surf, roll with the best of them. It just takes a ton of practice and a lot of crashing. LIKE ALL GOOD THINGS DO!!! That being said, get out and do it. Find someone that can do the tricks you're trying to learn and ride with them. Don't be afraid to ask for help.

Good luck
