300/440/550 is a 750sx worth the extra money?

so i am looking for a first stand up. locally (detroit area MI) craigslist has lots of options right now. for a first ski the current debate is 800$ for a 88 650sx with aftermarket ride plate and grips, or a $1300 for a 750sx. only ski i have any experience on is my old sea-doo gti that i used to have setup for river wake skate action. mainly im looking for anything to ride at this point. great lakes and flipping is a dream out in the next few years and i plan on upgrading to a superjet or newer kaw at that time and keeping whatever i buy now around for friends/gf to ride.

any help is apreciated. im trying to search and learn all i can. great website

i would pass on the 650 sx, i had a 750 Sx in the beginning and i liked the ski a great deal, I actualy paid $1200 for mine. You need to figure out which way you think you will be going, if you are planning on rec riding , just for fun a little on eth weekend the 750 will work well, if you are planning to go a freestyle route the 750 SX is a heavy boat and the reason why i gave up on mine...cheers
