yes you can paint over 5200, we use to do it all the time.

Silicone will repel paint though...

Never said it wasnt strong bro, but its messy, takes FOREVER to set up, doesnt sand smoth and cant paint it!! And when you need or want to rome it, its a BIOTCH! I prefer epoxy and 404 filler myself! If you NEVER want it off spend the $$$$ and use some plexus! Just my opinion!

Plexus is another one of those adhesives that has its place if used properly,it also has drawbacks as does any adhesive product,it has a short working time it sets extremely hard and it will completely debond after a strong impact.
