Super Jet Is 1994 wave blaster/ squarnose superjet motor Identical?

While replacing my alternator i found oil within that area . Figuring a new seal is needed, I was wondering if a 1994 wave blaster (700) seal would work with my 1994 squarenose 701. Are the motors identical? meaning, i can by new seals from rivaracing under 1994 wave blaster to put on my 1994 squarenose 701?

any help is appreciated.

Unless there was a motor swap in one of them then yes. Both should be 61X/61X

Ya just make sure that both motors say 61x on them. It is stamped several times, cylinders, case, ect...

Im not sure about that, I think some are. Either way though the oil injection doesnt make a difference with the seal or the motor for that part. it only make a difference with the cover and the end of the crank where it connects to the pump to engage it.....I think
