internal full

i was wondering if there is any way to make a home made internal full. i saw it done on people ski but dont know how to do it any suggestions?

You can use a gas cap and flange from a stock ski on a stock gas tank.

what did u use to block off the original full and did u use a gasket or something so it wont leak

That's not mine so I don't know, just know it can be done. I would image a PVC cap of some kind. Also the OEM gas cap flanges have a rubber seal.

home depot in the plumbing section for the block off cap. I used threebond 1211 to seal mine

three bond is used to seal cases, its like RTV or silicone, but different. I know you can get it from jetmaniac or Watcon, and im sure a bunch of other vendors that support the site

Tow hitch covers also work. Not sure if your tow hitches are different out in the U.S?

Isn't there a company that sells a fuel fill that sits right over the top of the inlet and outlet?

My friend has the stock Hull filler on his tank like the Picture and has no issues. I have heard stories of people saying the sealant used was melted by the fuel and blocked up thier fuel filter, Probably better to cut a rubber gasket if your going down that road.

The stock neck has a rubber gasket already but it's a good idea to use something else that is gas friendly. I used g flex epoxy. Silicone will breakdown.
