yea there is alot of home type kits available as well . but i dont know there something about having battery acid and electricity around the your house they i would shy away from unless you have a shop or better facilty

Yeah I will be doing it out in the shop for sure,actually its really no worse than charging a bunch of batteries at the same time,both give off hydrogen gas.

if you dig deeper you find that same article cut and pasted by lots of others and if you dig a little further you will find some articles about how to do mutlicolor dipping. like the inside of a tube black and the outside red. pretty cool stuff. I have about half of the stuff to do it just never got around to it yet.

I am going to try anodizing the tube I just made for the x2 steering,we will see how it turns out

Yeah I read basically that same article about ten years ago in a Car Craft magazine,that was just the best write up on the interweb that I could find without a massive effort .
