Super Jet Inserts

I did a quick search and didnt see what I was looking for. I need to put some inserts in the bilge area to,hold down water box and gas tank. Whay should I use for inserts? Should I use 5200 to secure them?
Thanks in advance

u can use stainless tnuts from lowes or other hardware stores, u can thicken some epoxy up, glue theme in that way, im fixing to do the same thing gonna use the t nuts , gonna use and ice tray thicken some epoxy resin up and pour in to the ice tray stick t nuts in epoxy let theme set up them glue theme in with some more thickened epoxy then lay up some glass around theme.

We pack the threads with clay or wax. Then it's easier to clean out. Pure resin gets brittle by itself, try adding some 1/4 chop strand and cabosil to the mix. Looks good!

Stock kawi hulls just used wood screws into a chunk of epoxy. I agree t-nuts are the way to go but the kawi method is also effective.

Yeah thought about chop after I made them. If they get me through summer , I will do them over in the winter. I used duct tape on the bottom of the t nut to keep threads clean.
