Inner Hull Detachment

Hey fellas, the bottom of my engine bay is beginning to detach from the Hull in my wb1.

I'm wondering what the best plan of action is, get a new hull or fix it. The hull is very clean outside of this issue.

Personally I would like to fix it and would like knw the best process to do so.

I noticed stress cracks around the fuel tank mounts in my B1 but it's holding. Is your hull bed plate physically detaching or just stress cracks?

Are you saying that glass is delaminating or a panel is separating from the hull?

the panel is delaminating from the hull on the pipe side in front of the stator cover on the engine.

Good thing you asked this question here! If you asked it on any of the FB groups, they probably would have told you to drill a hole thru the bottom and bolt it togeather!...... lol

Seriously, the fuser yamaha used breaks down over time. Take an industrial heat gun, heat and loosen the fuser, pry apart. You will need to completely remove the incert. Grind down and degrease throughly! Reinstall using Lord 120ez fuser or similar.
This job really sucks! Have done it a couple of times on B1 & FX-1 But its the only way to do it right
