Buy a few cans of brake parts cleaner, and spray the crap out of it and let it air dry... it works wonders.

Stan looks like it got put away wet, with some water in the lower end, that tends to be the result, its amazing how fast they can rust up. how are you flushing your ski ?

ive been backflushing, looked real good for a surf ski as far as corrosion in cooling ports.
maybe a leaky crank seal let water in? if not how can i prevent this???
i noticed my cases are a little ovaled out on the sides of the bearing seats is that really bad?

I wish someone would come up with a solid repair for cases that have clamping issues, I have a Kawi set that the front was wallered out a bit as well. Seems like they could be enlarged a tiny bit and install a speedi sleeve on the bearing to compensate, probably not cost effective though. Nothing a good machinest couldn't do.

cleaned all my parts in the ultrasonic today. hot simple green and powerful ultrasonic waves does wonders! ill have the cleanest motor! thinking of selling my 50. cant belive it. i said id never sell it.
