Wow that's absurd. I've watched most of the pro and am videos on the web of this years finals, and that makes me want a professionally made DVD MORE not less. That's ridiculous and is a piss poor buisness decision.

it seems like all of scotts decions are piss poor ones. someone needs to create a new organization. i know it would take a lot of work, but the way IJSBA is going, professional competition is over! look at freestlye this year, it was a joke with only 6 riders (i think it was 6)

My brother was contacted by Scott Frazier while I was in Pismo for the Freestyle Surf Slam. He used the typical legal jargon scare tactics. Until I seek legal guidance, I'm going to take no action, and my videos will still be available at www.osidecrew.com. The IJSBA is doing what they do best, killing the sport.

I don't tend to take kindly to bullying, so have at the videos in the mean time.

That is boguss :bs2: Unless each freestyler signed off that the IJSBA has explicit rights to their performance I do not see their claim holding water.

I urge you all to refrain from supporting the IJSBA in any manner possible. I have removed my videos against every princle in my body.....but I can't afford a legal battle.

jerry, did you find out that they can legally make us remove our videos? that means it is illegal for us to video tape the event also. if i cannot bring a video camera there i will not be attending any more world finals events!

can the IJSBA afford multiple legal battles?

I think everyone should video everything, and post it everywhere.

Let them try and control that.

I don't know the exactly legalities of it yet. I am going to seek council on this matter and determine if I have actually broken any copyright laws. I don't believe I have, but I'm going to try to err on the side of caution for once.

Scott Frazier, IJSBA president (or whatever his title is) is a lawyer.

This is THE reason I have decided to pull my videos. A legal battle costs him nothing, and me my livelyhood.
