Am I correct in the basic classifications for skis...


Stock - no modifications, as it comes from manufacturer
Superstock - stock engine with larger bore.
Limited - bolt on modifications allowed
Mod - Modified to gain max performance (porting, bolt-on, etc.)

    • handle pole

    • rejetted carbs

    • for 96+ sj only B-pipe
Limited - Same as above w/ pipe aftermarket carbs, head, drop nozzle, hood

Superstock - same as above max class displacement 800cc with porting, total loss, aftermarket pump aftermarket hull

Mod - pretty much anything goes

i saw at ijsba site that rius replica Superjet is allowed to stock class? Am i right? I trying to ask from ijsba techician but i havent got any answer.

I think rius replica is with 44 mikunis, protec pipe, 760 cylinders?

Stock - Allowed: Aftermarket impeller, ride plate, scoop grate, flame arrestor, primer kit, flush kit. Choke removal, re-jetting, and 1mm over-boring allowed. Aftermarket handlebars, throttles, and handle-pole pivot bushings.

Limited - In addition to stock class mods, aftermarket exhaust pipe, carburetors, compression increase, cdi unit, cooling system upgrades, and steering nozzle.

Super Stock - In addition to Limited mods, cylinder boring/sleeving/porting, case porting and interior machining, aftermarket ignition, pump assembly, waterbox, aluminum handle pole. Older models allowed to update to 62T cases and intake.

Free Style - The Freestyle rules permit all modifications with little or no restrictions.
