Super Jet Ignition Coil Replacement

Well my lurking and searching has turned into this...
First off thanks to all the educated forum users and your informative posts! I've repaired quite a few problems already with your answers!

Ski wasn't running at all, dead hole. Checked spark, had spark. Checked a bunch of other stuff, nothing wrong. Pulled the E box and listened, heard what sounded like arcing. Sure enough there was a small slit barely visible in the MSD Ignition Wires. Crazing thing was that it would give spark when "checking spark" but the pressure of the cylinder caused it to arc out. I'd still be kicking my ski, but my buddy is a pretty sharp mechanic and helped me narrow it down.

Anyways, now I need a new coil. I'm thinking I want stock, but OEM is major $$$ as always. Can any of you make a solid, reliable reccomendation? If it matters I've got a 701 with ADA Head, R&D intake, Dual 44 Mikuni, and a Factory B. All other electronics look stock.

Thanks!

Yep JSS bores the stock coil out and puts a high flow wire in and MSD boots. You cant beat the stock coils they just about never go bad, its always the wire. You can have a brand new ski and the wires will be dust in the inside when you go to cut them.
John fixes this by using a high end wire and boot. John is the man he has do over 30 coils for me and never a problem.

If you do decide to go with a new coil, use the Kawasaki coil, same basic coil for about half the price of the OEM yamaha one
