If antiseize does not prevent corrosion between two dissimliar metals, then what are we to put on our stainless steel bolts and screws that screw into aluminum?

Yes, it is. It's a silicone based sealant. I heard of people using it on threads also. I've never used it, but am curious. When I took my girdle studs out, the previous owner had something white on them, and it was cured. I had asked a couple people and they said it may have been that.

I have been using GE 100% silicone on my threads for about a year and it seems to be working pretty well.

Ummm, I believe antiseize can do that.

works well, and cheaper.

antiseize does not work in salt.any grease that says waterproof and/or marine will work the best

There's also Neverseez NMBT-8 and NMBT-16 as well as Jet-Lube 09702 and 09704.
