Not sure if these have been tried b4, but i think it would be a cool idea to have an adjustable scoop grate. Not really sure how they could be made. Maybe with different slots the crossbar could be wedged into and change able crossbars from short to long, etc.

Any thoughts? Doable? Worth doing?

I don't have the know how or equipment to try this, but some of you do. Snowxr...LOL

i dont get the point of having adjustable ones....

1) 90% of the people posting here do not have a setback pump.
2)of the people running an aftermarket hull, most of these hulls did not redesign the intake tract
3) these are not very aggressive, and the ones you posted, specifically are not very efficient. Everything is bars, and not tear dropped. Which actually does have a much larger impact than one would imagine.

So why not just stick with the designs that are aggressive, strong, available, and work? Or is it just the little demon in you that insists on having executive decision on all adjustments and parts? lol

it doesn't matter whether you have a setback pump or not...if you want it to scoop more, than you can set it to that. And yes Fox, I do like optons. The one thing that I agree with you on is the shape, after I filed the sharp edeges of my intake to make a smoother tract it did make a good/big difference on hook-up but any one that gets one of the thrusts can do that themseleves. I think that the Thrust guys have a great idea and I'm in for getting one for sure!

If you want it to scoop more, it still wont scoop as much as a 201, nor even a 205. There just is not enough surface area.

Its all making a compromise, and I'm not about compromises. :spam:
