SX/SXi/SXi Pro I took ride plate off my pro and one of the bolts snaped. How do i get it out?

I put the ride plate back on and took it out for rip. It handled great with just 3 bolts .Its the left rear bolt that snaped. Its still solid with three bolt right now , but i realy dont want to be a hack. It broke off almost flush . I put penitrating oil on it and tryed chanel locks. does anyone have any pointers or have had the same problem.

If its sticking out enough they make bolt extractors that work pretty good. I have a set made by Irwin I picked up at lowes that work great. Heat is always your friend too, you can use a old licence plate or something to shield the fiberglass. The previous owner of my ski must have had the same issue, there was a pretty good size hole in my tray where someone must have accessed a plate or pump bolt.

I had the same problem on 3 of the 4 bolts that hold the ride plate on. I ended up having to drill them out with a reverse drill bit of course. I then ran a tapper through the ones I didn't hit the threads on to clean them up and i ran a size or two bigger for the one I fugged up. They are brass fittings so this job sucks.

I never seen this tool kit before , im deffintly picking on up . I think i might have damaged the broken bolt too much for this to work . Im still getting this kit but i think im going to have to drill and tap it . Thanks for the info and help guys .
No. the bolt extractors I'm talking about go over the threads and grab whats left of the old bolt when turned counter clockwise.

Look like these

Yeah I saw you put a different nozzle on, glad it worked, I paid like 50 bucks to have mine bored out. I dont really know how much it helped since I did a lot of work at the same time.
