Biggest thing I burned was a christmas tree, even though it was only 7 foot tall, the flames went up about 30 feet! Someone called the fire dept, but it burned just fast enough they couldnt find us.

Yes they are. That was a Texas A&M tradition that has been stopped since during the building of the bonfire several years ago. It collapsed and several students were killed.

Let me tell you...it was an unbelievable experience to go to Bonfire!!! It was built on campus and was a tradition that was started back in the 1800's. I am sure Michael knows the exact date. I sure wish they would allow the tradition to be continued!!
