300/440/550 I need a 550 crank!

A 440 crank will work to and my be easier to find.

yeah but there are 2 types of 440 cranks.
the older style with the pressed coupler will not work in a 550 motor.

it is the older style crank that has the pressed coupler. The change was 81 82.
the crank case are the same casting but machined different.
the easy way to spot an older motor is by the extension housing that has 4 bolts in it at the back of the motor.
