Heres the ol' Salmon an hour into it. Sorry, Rickster :wink: :haha: Should have rode it like this all year, looks alot better already :sad:

I'd just shave it or find a 96+ to replace it with.

To shave it, you pull the staples out from the area you need to pull the naugahyde back, cut the styrofoam and plastic, sand it, then recover and glue/staple the n'hyde back on. I did mine back in 95 and it looked great.

I was thinking of shaving it into a design, but we will see. I will probably do it myself and I am sure it will look a ton better no matter what I do :cheer:

See if you can find a superjet hull, then take the motor out of the KAwi and sell it then find a superjet motor. Once you have gotten rid of the KAWI motor and hull, sell the KAWI pump and buy a SUPERJET pump. Repeat above steps w/ gas tank, water box, handle pole, and so on. Then paint the SJ pole salmon and assemble.

I know, I know. I will have a SJ eventually. Just working with what I have right now..........it'd be nice to ride an SJ so Iknow what I am missing :dunno:
