Hydroturf Idea??

Just Molded diamond hydroturfed my ski and part of the side rails today.

I got a ton of molded diamond turf left over and cant find a big decal that I like to put on my handpole.

Has anyone ever thought of Molded Diamond turfing their Hand-pole?? It is just for looks and not functional for any other purpose!
Yes....No....Maybe look sorta cool???

Might not fit in the pole channel of the hood after being turfed.

I don't really like the idea either, if it was on a stocker the thing would look fat as hell.

I only like turf on the hood where the handholds are, and just a little bit of it.

Man I wish I had extra turf...I used almost every bit of mine and didn't even get to do the rails.
On a side note, I went to Walmart and just got some of the gay vinyls people put on their cars and then took some scissors to it. I think it looks good on the ski but gay on a car...I'm sure some will say it looks gay on a ski too but I don't care. I like it.

i'm in the auto industry so kinda an annoying obsession. is it true what they say about the s2's, can drive on the freeway with the top down and not get wet? :scared:

I've never actually tried but I'd have to say no...If I use washer fluid at anything above 30mph, the wipers push all the water to the left and it rolls off the windshield and onto you and the interior. You stay drier in a wrangler with no top and doors or a cherokee with no doors.

PS - sorry to highjack the thread but hopefully we gave you some ideas for the pole.

oh ok for i thought that'd be pretty intense if it did that. i have a friend who has one and he said that, but i thought it was BS. :wavey: good to know!

and sorry dirk for hijacking the thread also!! Turf your moms pots and pan handles or something!!

You can do that in our roadster (not an s2), you just have to be going fast enough.
