One sheet will work in the tray area unless you want to do a two tone job. You might need two sheets if you want to turf the rails too. I like to cover the area in the footholds first, then the side, then bottom. Use weldwood (I think thats the name) contact cement. You can get it at any hardware store. Just make sure you start with a sharp new razor blade and let the contact cement set up for about 15 minutes before you stick it on.

Get you some under pad from Hydroturf or even a camping pad from Walmart works great. Use the underpad on the tray bottom and and in the foothold area where the top of your feetv will hit.I just put REVS in my square and turfed. If you have any questions just PM me. Turfing is not bad at all, just take your time. And like I said if you need help just let me know. Or if you want to look at my REVS you can. I just went riding today and liked them.

Dap Weldwood works so well it will blow your mind! Just use the cheap foam brushes to apply it.

Is there any advantge between the regular and the gel Wedwood? I have always used the gel, seemed easier to work with.

A 40x62 sheet won't cover the tray and rails? I just ordered one.

A sheet will cover the tray .... if your want to do the rails it will require 2 sheets.
as 58 said use dap weldwood contact cement... I prefer the NON gel pput it on both surfaces.. let dry completely then repeat. I have made a rough templet out of paper before and that helps alot. using a heat gun will help sooooo much aswell . I did my revs with no cuts or seams all one piece on the side...

I did it with one sheet cut into thirds. Look in the TECH FAQ for onesojourner's thread called "How to turf with no seems". It will tell you everything you need to know. You will need a heat gun or a hair dryer to get the turf to mold to the foothold shape. For the tray make a template out of newspaper or something like it. Do the sides first. Good luck.

The gel stuff is cleaner/easier to work with but it doesn't seem to hold as strong, just from my experience.

Precut kits suck anyway- I bought a kit for my Rickter; with as much trimming and fitting as you have to do, you might as well start from scratch. The only pieces I am using are the bottom mat and pad pieces.
