hydrolocking

SUPERJET-113

GASKETS FOR CHAMP BRAP!
Instead of taking the plugs in and out many times like you have to do when you hydrolock, you can just do that and run it on a stand in the water or on the trailer and get it running good enough to put the regular plugs back in and go ride and blow it out hardcore..

Yea, that makes sense to me about the water conducting the electricity also, but i really have no idea.

you bend a rod when the motor is running and takes a big gulp of water.

the cup plugs work better when wet because the regular gap can easily be shorted with a small drop of water making it impossible to start or it will fire once then get wet and die.
increase the gap and bbbwwwaaa bwwaaa bwwaaa brrraaa braaaaaa BRAAAAAP!

eric hydrolock is simply when you ingest enough water that it fills the cylinder and stops the motor. Water obviously doesn't combust, so when you ingest it and the motors spinning, that only leaves a few options, mostly bent rods, and all kinds of other good carnage. 2 strokes can with stand water ingestion alot better then 4 strokes, thats why there so good in jet skis. Often you can get lucky and save a 2 stoke motor.. 4 strokes on the other hand, you got major issues, valves, rods, pistons... so much more to bend and break.

That is a good idea, I am going to make a set and leave them in the tool box.

can someboy post a picture of one of these plugs? that link that eric posted said to run hotter plugs when recovering the engine. I don't know why that is, but i guess if it supposedly work better might as well run them for the 'recover' plugs.

also how do you turn the motor over by hand? sorry noob question.

is it really that hard to imagine? rip off the thingy that hangs over the thing with the white thing around it.
pull the plugs grab the coupler and turn.
